Tomorrow is the day that i’ve been waiting for school is out and summer has begun and the vacations have started let the fun begin.

       “Beep,Beep “,screeched the alarm clock on the side of my bed.I hit the snooze button and as soon as I did it I heard “Sierra, hurry up if we’re going to make it before lunch we have to get a move on”,Dad yelled.I got dressed as fast as I could so I could finish my eggs and bacon before my dad yells at me again to hurry up . After packing my stuff I hauled it into the bed of the truck .It was close 8:00 when we got the trailer hooked up and ready to go.

      We drove for a about 2 hours and  we set up camp I looked at the lake view from our campsite it was a beautiful day for fishing and I had the whole lake to do it on. As I walked around the place to get to know it better and by the time I was back at camp lunch was cooked. We had cooked hot dogs,baked beans,and marshmallows for dessert. When I was done I threw my napkin away and went outside with my dad to help him fix the rods up and get to the lake.

      When we got to the lake It was peaceful and so quiet that you could hear a pin drop it was truly a perfect weather day.I got my pole got a worm on it and I threw it out waiting and watching. Time passed and  I was just about to give up until my luck change in about the 13th cast I caught 3 big Catfish 3 Brim and a Rainbow Fish.That day I caught seven fish in 30 minutes that’s my record.

       I spent three days with my dad and got to know him closer.I’m glad that I had time with him because I don’t get to spend time with him as much as I use to because of his work. I realized that a family is the best is the best thing that you could have .
